A Guide to Hunger and Malnutrition

A collection of resources intended for research on global hunger/food insecurity, malnutrition, agricultural developments, and disease/pandemic implications.

This guide will provide resources for research on current efforts to address hunger and malnutrition. Each page will provide research articles, journals, books, websites, datasets, and other resources specific to a topic. In addition to current projects and research, each box will feature resources on background information and general knowledge about the selected topic. The disease/pandemics tab will provide resources that address how the pandemics have altered progress on anti-hunger initiatives. The guide also includes a section for region specific resources on food security. Many of the resources listed will be open access or available to IFPRI researchers through a subscription. Publications were chosen by evaluating resources used in global hunger/food security and nutrition reports, and noting which ones were most cited across publications.

Contribution provided by a summer 2020 intern with IFPRI and the Congressional Hunger Institute.
